From The Great Retrowave Experiment of 2017, this piece was inspired by the Teen Titans Go! episode, “40/40/20,” which features the synthwave song, “The Night Begins to Shine” by B.E.R. And then they made a bunch of sequel episodes to that one, and they’re all pretty good.
The characters are screencaps from the show’s intro sequence, and the space photo is a NASA stock image. But Cyborg flying the bike through the sky is original, as is the grid and mountains. And the sun. And the layout. And the text. And the concept!
Anyways, Teen Titans Go! has a pretty unique sense of humor that isn’t for everyone, but it occasionally results in some great episodes.
