Biff Jerky Custom Toy

If you haven’t read my Biff Jerky comic, “Never Forget,” you can do that right now by clicking this sentence.

I’m always looking for fun and original art projects, so creating a custom action figure of a character I created for a school project seemed like a great idea.

Biff Jerky here was made from Toy Biz’s X-Men: Age of Apocalypse Sabretooth action figure, with a lot of sculpey III and wrist wraps made of duct tape (of all things). And a bunch of paint.

This image stolen from eBay.

I remember showing the figure to a friend recently after completing it, and then showing them the Sabretooth figure, and their response was, “Whoa, that looks way different!” Which, y’know, is the goal of customizing toys.

Some of Biff’s paint has chipped off over the last 15 years, but he’s actually held together surprisingly well, all things considered. I’m still pretty proud of this one.
