I honestly don’t remember a time where I didn’t love Transformers. Here are repaints of various TF toys I’ve made over the years.
“Generations” is the overall name given to most general Transformers figures released in non-Japan territories since about 2006. These are the ones you’ll see on toy store shelves that aren’t based on a particular movie or cartoon series.
These adorable little guys were released in 2007-2008, and I had a lot of fun making versions of characters that Hasbro probably wouldn’t release — They DID end up releasing Stepper as “Ricochet,” months after I made him, though.
Heroes of Cybertron
I’m a big fan of these simple PVC non-transforming figures. They were sold in Walgreens and other phramacy stores in the early 2000’s. Given how many recolors of Starscream Hasbro has released over the years, this is a fun and easy way to make my own customized versions of them all — Eventually! They keep adding more!
Japanese company Kaiyodo created this toy line that is comprised of dozens of different IPs. I found a few of them on eBay for reasonable prices, and painted them up to be alternate versions of the handful of figures actually released.
