Ems from my webcomic Hawk & Croc is loosely based on a friend. That friend asked me to make an image of Ems playing bass for her to use for various social media banners. So, sure, why not?
I used Sophie Campbell’s art from the 2015 Jem and the Holograms by IDW Publishing as inspiration, although I definitely drew this in my style.
