After Christmas 2004, Hawk & Croc went on hiatus. I was taking a cartooning class in college, and the final assignment was to make either 5 comic strips of 3 panels each, or 3 full comic pages.
Being the overachiever that I could be, I wanted to tell five-page comic… which eventually turned into eight pages.
I decided to go more in-depth with Fire Raven’s origin, which we had just concluded in the first half of Hawk & Croc’s School Daze. And so, this is the tale of Fire Raven’s first adventure.
