To tie in with the upcoming Ghostbusters Afterlife film, Hasbro has produced a series of Ghostbusters figures that are something of an update to the classic 1980s The Real Ghostbusters toys by Kenner.
Some of you will remember that I turned a set of those Kenner Real Ghostbusters toys into somewhat movie-accurate outfits, which I posted about a year ago. Well, now that Hasbro has released a set of five-POA (that’s shorthand for Points of Articulation) Ghostbusters, why not do it the other way, too?
The first photo was taken with the flash on, the second without. Because lighting is weird!
Anyways, these guys were a fun weekend project during October. I did Egon, Winston, and Ray in one night, because they shipped first, and then I did Venkman the next day, along with some touch-ups to the first three.
I remembered to take a photo of the in-progres shot on the first night.
Bustin’ makes me feel good.
Ghostbusters was created by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, and is owned by Columbia Pictures.
