In addition to all of my other nerdery, I have a lot of early 1990s Marvel trading cards, and the first series I collected was Marvel Universe Series II from 1991. I thought making some H&C trading cards could be fun. There’s no original art in these (except for the backgrounds), but I DID duplicate the borders of the original Marvel cards pretty accurately.
These cards don’t actually exist, and I never designed the back sides. And then Marvel released a bunch of stuff using these borders, so I don’t wanna get into any sort of legal trouble with Disney’s lawyers.
